What is the real cause of the financial crisis affecting the world? Are banks really guilty. Were most, or at least some of the banks, operating as Ponzi schemes? Was the financial system as a whole a very wide form of Ponzi scheme? I think that the answer to these questions has to be a resounding yes.

Now, let me first of all say that there are no authoritative definitions of a Ponzi scheme. The term is used to describe operations of an individual or entity operating in a manner similar to the way of operation that first gained notoriety following the arrest of Charles Ponzi.

Why the hurry that governments all over the world exhibit in trying to pass or enact legislation to provide the various economic bailouts as have been suggested, to deal with the financial crisis? Why this unprecedented urgency and the little, or even total, lack of justification for it, except in generalities? This really got me thinking.

I have been working on a new post for two days now. I am not happy with it as it appears, and really is too much of a rant. Consequently I have not published for 48 hours either. And although my erstwhile intention was, and still is, to make at least five posts a week on this site, this seems to be already in jeopardy.

I have been very busy, the last three months, researching available software to set up a web site. I spent a lot of time on that investigation and, subsequently, playing with, learning the finer aspects of the selected software and setting up this site with it. In this case the software selected is Drupal, for the usage of which this site is an example. Now, I am going to address and develop the content and direction of ZuNOB.
